About giant latex balloons

A giant is still natural latex, just thicker walled so it holds its shape at a size a party balloon would burst at. Fill it slowly and stop when the neck starts to pear: a giant over-filled to a perfect sphere is one warm afternoon from splitting.

Gas is the part people underestimate. A 2ft giant takes about 0.111m³ of helium and a 3ft about 0.227m³ — the same as twenty-five 10 inch balloons — so two or three giants can decide which cylinder you need. The fill calculator will work it out.

On helium alone a giant holds up well through an evening event. Treat it with Hi-Float first if it needs to be up the next morning, or fill it with air and weight it for a display that lasts the week.

Common questions

How do I fill a giant balloon?
With the latex nozzle on a hire cylinder, slowly, holding the neck over the nozzle rather than forcing it on. A disposable canister will fill one or two, but runs out quickly at this size.
Can I have my logo printed on a giant?
Yes. Open any giant here and choose to print on it, or go straight to the printed giant latex configurator. Printing is one colour, on one or both sides.
How do I stop a giant drifting?
Use a heavier weight than you would for a bouquet, or two, and tie it off short. A 3ft giant has enough lift to walk a light foil weight across a table.
