About balloons
Latex is what garlands, arches and columns are built from. It is cheap in volume, biodegradable, and takes a helium fill or an air fill equally well — most large structures are air-filled because they are fixed to a frame and do not need to float.
Foil is the answer when a balloon has to still be up in two days. The self-sealing valve is quicker to fill than tying latex, and a foil balloon can be deflated, stored flat and used again.
