No. Anyone can order at the prices on the site — event companies, schools, venues and people decorating their own party alike. There is no application and no minimum spend.

Not for balloons, helium or accessories: buy one if one is what you need. Printed balloons start at 100 for latex and foil, and 10 for giants, because every run needs its own screens.

Yes. Every price on the site includes VAT at 20%, and your order confirmation shows the VAT separately for your records.

Most balloons have price breaks, shown in a table on each product page. Buy at or above a break and every balloon in the line is charged at that rate — the basket works it out for you.

Yes — call us or use the contact form. For very large helium or printing jobs we can often do better than the website price.

Disposable canisters are simpler for small jobs — up to a few hundred balloons — and there is nothing to return. Above that a hire cylinder is cheaper per balloon, and the gap widens quickly with size.

It depends on the balloon size far more than people expect: a 12 inch latex takes about 0.0158m³, more than twice a 9 inch. Our calculator works it out from the balloons you are filling and picks the cylinder that covers it.

Cylinders are collected from depots run by two gas agents, BOC and Air Products, and they charge differently for the same cylinder. Neither stocks every size, either. Pick a depot and you see exactly what collecting from it costs.

Order before 3pm on a working day and you can usually collect the same day. Delivery needs 3 working days' notice. Depots and couriers do not work weekends or bank holidays, so hires start on a working day.

Four weeks' hire is included. You can buy extra 28-day months up front for £17.99 each, up to six months in total. A cylinder returned late without pre-paid time is charged at £8.95 a week.

Yes. When cylinders are delivered, every one after the first is £20 cheaper — the basket applies it automatically.

Yes. Tell us which balloons you are filling when you order, and the right inflator comes with the cylinder.

Use the latex, foil or giant balloon configurators. Choose the quantity, balloon colours, print type and ink, and the price updates as you go — including any express turnaround.

A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or a PDF with live artwork) is best. If all you have is an image, send it anyway and we will tell you whether it will reproduce. No artwork at all? Give us the wording and a font.

Always, and for free. Send it through the free artwork check before you order if you want to know it will work, and nothing goes to press until you have approved a proof.

Give us a Pantone reference and we will mix to it. Black and white inks are included; other colours add a one-off charge to the order — not to each balloon — which the configurator shows before you add to basket.

Standard turnaround is about two weeks. Faster options, down to the next working day, are offered in the configurator with the fee and the date shown for each.

Balloons, accessories and printed balloons go by courier, priced on the weight of the parcel from £3 on the UK mainland. You choose standard, express or Highlands and Islands in the basket.

They travel separately by their own carrier. You choose the service on the canister page, it is charged per canister, and it adds nothing to the postage on the rest of your order.

Order stock by 2pm on a working day and it is dispatched the same day.

Unused stock can be returned — see the returns page for how. Printed balloons are made to your specification, so they cannot be returned unless there is a fault.

Yes. Card payments are handled by Stripe on their own secure page, so your card details never reach our server.

An order confirmation with the full breakdown and VAT is emailed as soon as payment goes through.
